On behalf of Healing Hands Reiki & Spiritual Development Inc., we extend our deepest gratitude for selecting our organization as a recipient of the Give Back Yoga Foundation Yoga Mat Grant. We are truly honored to receive this generous award of 24 yoga mats, made possible through your partnership with Gaiam.
Your investment in our organization is an investment in the health and well-being of the diverse communities we serve throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area. These yoga mats represent much more than equipment—they are a pathway to healing, accessibility, and opportunity. By eliminating one of the most common barriers to participation, this grant ensures that individuals who do not own yoga equipment can fully engage in our wellness programming with dignity and comfort.
The addition of these 24 yoga mats will significantly increase accessibility for participants in our yoga, Reiki-infused yoga, meditation, and sound bath classes, particularly for individuals from low-income and underserved communities. Many of our participants face financial challenges that make purchasing personal yoga equipment difficult. Because of your generosity, they will now have access to a safe, welcoming, and fully equipped environment where they can focus on restoring their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
This grant will also enable us to expand participation in our community wellness programs by increasing class capacity and allowing us to serve more veterans, first responders, caregivers, families, youth, and communities of color. We anticipate increased attendance and sustained engagement as participants experience a more accessible and inclusive environment where healing practices are available regardless of economic circumstances.
